Katie Gill - mixed media artist

The fundamental nature of my present artwork is mixed media; I combine paint, collage and found objects to produce abstract works on canvas. I am inspired by life around me, and my work reflects personal thoughts and feelings.

The areas of drawing, assemblage and photography are also of interest and form an integral part of my studio practice.

Together with producing work for exhibitions, I take private and public commissions and run art workshops. My current working location is Roscoe Artspace, Scarborough, North Yorkshire. www.roscoeartspace.co.uk
